Reaching high for atis
After lunch today, my grandmother asked me to get the atis she saw in the tree. We have 3 atis trees in the backyard. She said the birds might eat them again. It is easy but the complication starts when the fruits are too high to reach.
Atis has a scientific name Annona squamosa and is also known as sugar-apple or sweetsop. It is very hard to find in the market. The ones I usually see for sale are the small ones. Inside the fruit is its colour white flesh coating the black seeds. This fruit is really sweet. I am sure you will like it once you’ve tasted it.
